The most important in table arrangement is creating a convenience for guests, to make the table neat and attractive. The table arrangement can be called a kind of art. It is not so easy, there are some rules of arrangement the ware and other subjects on the table. The most difficult thing is to arrange the table for a festive dinner. For festive arrangement is more suitable line and flax napkins, which can be folded up in different shapes: triangle, square, cone and so on. It can be laid in rings. First it is necessary to cover the table with a starched white cloth. It is better to put on the table a bunch of flowers in low and broad vases. But flowers shouldn’t have a keen scent. It is better to make the table arrangement in the same style. It shouldn’t use an expensive ware; it should look elegant and neat. You can use china, cut – glass or ceramic ware. In the middle of the table during the dinner are put a vase with fruits, casters with pepper, mustard, and vinegar. Bread boxes are better to put on the different ends of the table. Near to the middle of the table are put cold snack. The plates are put on the equal distance on the cloth. Wine glasses, tall wineglasses or facers are put in front of the plate and slightly more to the right. The ware for desserts is put behind glasses. The flatware is put in the same way as daily arrangement. A knife is put on the right of plate. Spoons and forks should lay salience down. All kinds of wine are put on the table unsealed. And champagne are opened only before pouring. |
